JOB DESCRIPTION :
A Digital Category Leader plays a critical role by overseeing the strategic management
and optimization of product categories. This position requires a deep understanding of
consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to drive revenue growth
and enhance customer experience within assigned product categories. The Category
Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales side,
programs, category sports teams, supply chain, etc, to achieve business objectives and
maximize sales, profitability and customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy
Develop and execute strategies to drive online sales growth, enhance customer
experience, and improve conversion rates. Stay updated on ecommerce industry
trends, and customer preferences to recommend innovative strategies and
initiatives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for
differentiation and market positioning.
Project and Performance Management
Monitor and analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify
trends and opportunities for improvement.

Delegation and Decision Making
Performance Evaluation for Team
Stakeholder Management / Collaborations
Proactive business planning and owning the category online business case along
with business finance and program teams.
Collaborate with Sales Side and Marketing Team to plan and implement effective
online marketing campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO), and SEM
detailing.
Work closely with Country Sport Teams to optimize the offer and develop the
commercial policy to address customer/user needs and to develop and launch
new products and promotions.
Work closely with the Country Customer Service Team to understand customer
sentiments and address customer journey grievances.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree is preferred
- 8 - 12 Years of experience in category management (Pref. in Digital)
- Demonstrated expertise in category management, preferably within the D2C or
ecommerce sector
- Proficient analytical skills, with a strong ability in data analysis and market
research - Outstanding communication essential
