Role Description:

Senior Manager / Deputy General Manager Project Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute end-to-end project management for utility-scale ground mounted solar projects.
• Oversee project design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are strictly adhered to.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Design, SCM, Finance, and O&M) and external stakeholders including clients, EPC contractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Review and approve project schedules, drawings, BOQs, and progress reports.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular project reviews, progress meetings, and site inspections.
• Manage contracts, documentation, and statutory compliances related to solar projects.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to the project management team.
• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards across all project sites.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering . A Masters degree and PMP certification will be considered an added advantage.
• Minimum

  15 years of experience

  in

  solar project management

  , with proven expertise in handling

  utility-scale solar projects (ground-mounted / floating / hybrid)

  .
• Strong understanding of project planning tools, cost control, and quality management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera and other project management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualification:

• Minimum

  15 years

  of management experience in relevant industry including utility-scale solar EPC project management on the EPC execution side.
• We will also consider experience as a Construction Manager or Assistant Manager if you have managed full construction scope on multiple 150MW+ utility scale solar projects.
• Experience being the single point-of-contact, including managing the bottom-line, for at least 1 utility-scale solar EPC project (150MW+) from cradle-to-grave (i.e. from notice-to-proceed through commercial operation).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
