Mep Project Manager

Role & responsibilities:

1. Lead on-site execution of civil works (ie., structural, architectural finishing, waterproofing, Civil finishes and MEP).

2. Responsible for handling onsite contractors and subcontractors, monitoring and accurately predicting job timelines, maintaining billing and schedules.

3. Planning & execution work as per structural design & architectural drawing.  Supervision of all construction activities including providing technical inputs of methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities. Leading large team of workers and professional and handling allocation of task within the team based on skills and profile

4. Inspection of all construction activities like Shuttering, Reinforcement, Block/Brick work, Plaster, levelling, Layout & Civil finishes

5. Witness of Field quality tests i.e. Compressive strength, Work-ability of concrete, NDT for concrete structures, Pile load tests, Sieve analysis for aggregates, Silt content analysis for aggregates, Quality test for Bricks as Compressive test, dimensional test and water absorption, Compaction test, DFT for Painting works, Hydro testing of water retaining structures etc. for certification of works

6. Resolve Client-Design related issues by initiating RFIs (Request for Information) and ensure seamless coordination between clients and subcontractors

7. Responsible for reviewing and approving the contractor's submittals, technical queries, field change documents and other technical documents including drawings and As-Builts

8. Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site. Verifies compliance with Permit and License requirements and stipulations

9. Coordinate all MEP related activities at project sites and day to day operation.

10. Coordination and commission HT, LT, FA, PA, CCTV, FTTH, LA, Lifts, DG set, and other LV work and certification. Ensuring commissioning of all MEP services as per design, Capable to work as a MEP Coordinator for multiple projects with FLS, CCTV & WIFI.

11. Has good knowledge of Interiors (Fit-out, Modular & onsite)

12. Ensuring work practices to be in accordance with Civil Quality Assurance/Quality Control QA/QC

13. Ultimately responsible for safety and quality, built as per the required project standards and within Budget Monitors personnel manning schedules to ensure they match Project Schedule.

14. Documenting Change Order Management / Change Orders.

15. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

16. Traveling to various sites as required.

We are searching for a reliable Sr. Project Engineer (Civil & MEP) to join our capable team of professionals. The Engineer will be tasked with coordination with Architects, Structural engineers, MEP Services/consultant, PMC and Contractors to integrate project execution into overall building plans.
