Position Overview:

Cluster Sales Manager

As a Cluster Sales Manager, you will focus on enhancing revenue generation by developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing strategic sales initiatives that align with the companys goals. You will collaborate closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure the overall success and growth of the assigned properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for multiple hotels within the cluster to achieve revenue and market share growth.
    • Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for each property.
    • Identify key market segments, including corporate, leisure, government, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) to drive sales.
  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel partners to maximize revenue.
    • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and events to foster partnerships.
    • Ensure a personalized, high-quality experience for clients, anticipating their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Market Analysis:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
    • Analyze sales data and performance reports to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
  4. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the on-property sales teams to align goals, share insights, and implement sales initiatives effectively.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that sales campaigns and promotions are aligned with the brands objectives.
    • Support and mentor junior sales staff across the cluster, helping them meet individual and team goals.
  5. Negotiation & Contract Management:

    • Lead the negotiation of contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to ensure profitability while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Oversee the preparation and management of proposals, contracts, and other documentation.
  6. Reporting & Performance Tracking:

    • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to senior management.
    • Continuously track KPIs and adjust strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  7. Customer Service Excellence:

    • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained at all times across the cluster of properties.
    • Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position within the hospitality industry (preferably in 5-star hotels).
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, particularly in sales, revenue management, and key account management.
  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to present ideas and negotiate effectively.
  • Leadership & Team Management:

    Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating teams.
  • Technology Proficiency:

    Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
  • Analytical Skills:

    Strong data analysis and reporting skills to monitor sales performance and trends.
  • Travel:

    Willingness to travel to different properties within the cluster as required.
