DGM/GM – Finance & Accounts

As the DGM/GM – Finance & Accounts, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial health of the organization by providing strategic direction, maintaining robust accounting systems, and optimizing resource allocation. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive growth and profitability.

The hybrid setup offers the flexibility to manage key responsibilities remotely while attending essential in-person meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment planning.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to achieve organizational goals.
• Prepare accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for senior management and the board.
• Advise leadership on cost optimization and risk management initiatives.
• Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and capital-raising opportunities.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or CA certification preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in senior finance and accounting roles, with leadership experience at the DGM/GM level or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced financial modeling tools.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid, part-time work environment while managing complex priorities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
