Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

Role & responsibilities

Marketing and Execution

  • Develop market intelligence through a deep understanding of the consumer and competition, ensuring that marketing plans are relevant and impactful.
  • Execution of new products launch from conception, including, pricing strategy, product positioning, marketing campaigns and promotional activity. Build capabilities of sales teams
  • Execute marketing communication plans and collaborate with agencies to maximize the reach and impact of advertising and promotion activities.
  • Track performance of existing and new products and collaborate with cross functional teams to take corrective actions to increase penetration and market share
  • Design, Conduct and Analyse QFDs and VOCs to provide inputs to new product development as well as implementing initiatives to improve customer satisfaction levels
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure marketing material for products and services are available with our partners, including training of partners for enhancing capabilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product and help support the sales teams to better understand product value and competition
  • Use market intelligence and competition to help sales planning and forecasting

Financial Management

  • Monitoring and analysing pricing, promotions and discounts strategies and help make adjustments to ensure increase realization
  • Help negotiate contracts with agencies

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product satisfaction, business growth and product development and positioning

People Management

  • Ensure strong communication between teams to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements
  • Conduct comprehensive training programs on product and value selling
  • Establish best practices for people to ensure their aspirations are met with the overall business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education Qualifications MBA in Marketing/General Management with B.E & B. Tech in Automobile /Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred.

  • 10 15 years of Experience

  • Technical diagnosis capability
  • Basic Understanding on Gensets and off highway engines.
