DGM Manufacturing - Press & Progressive Tools job in Bangalore

Job Title

AGM/DGM - Manufacturing

• Reporting to Sr. G.M - Operations
• Location : Aerospace Park - Bangalore

Qualification & Experience -

15 20 Years experience in handling manufacturing operations in a mid-size sheet metal stamping Industry

• Lead team of PPC, production , Tooling, Quality ,Maintenance and vendor management.
• Conduct production and quality reviews to achieve daily and monthly production outputs .
• Ensure 100% OTD as per sales plan.
• Ensure zero customer rejections and quick response/ disposition action in case of quality issues raised by customer
• Continuously drive on various improvements in Production , quality, cost and delivery through continuous improvement activities
• Continuous monitoring of machine capacities and plan for capacity expansion based on sales projections and raise of capex on time.
• Ensure all expenditure are made as per budgets
• Inventory is managed as per budgeted levels and continuous improvements in RM and WIP levels are planned and achieved
• Ensure upkeep of machines and shop floor and implement best 5S practices in shop floor.
• Ensure preventive maintenance plan of critical machines are adhered to and break down of machines are minimized.
• Ensure discipline in the shop floor and maintain cordial relationship with Trade Union.

Functional Technical Skills

• Thorough Knowledge on sheet metal stamping , Press and its operations, Tool maintenance and quality systems
• Ability to Trouble shoot tooling related issues and provide suitable solutions .
• Knowledge on production planning ,Electro plating , heat treatment, plastic molding and machining is essential
• Knowledge on APQP, PPAP ,MSA and Gauge R&R is must
• Effective Team building & upgrade the skills of teammates.
• Negotiation skills on union related negotiations
