About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support deployment and release activities for applications and services.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and Kafka messaging systems.
• Handle cloud infrastructure provisioning and management on AWS (Linux, Windows, EC2, etc.).
• Use Rancher for container management and orchestration.
• Work with Apigee API Gateway for API management and integration.
• Analyze system logs and logs from Splunk for incident resolution and performance improvements.
• Participate in rotational shift support.
• Document processes, configurations, and incidents clearly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding system status and issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in DevOps support
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Rancher and Apigee.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Experience with log management tools like Splunk.
• Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts as per the specified timings.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
