Role Overview

DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
using
GitLab Runner / Azure DevOps
.
Implement
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using
Terraform
and
Ansible
for provisioning and configuration management.
Work on
Docker
for containerization and assist in container-based deployments.
Support
cloud deployments
(AWS/Azure/GCP) – VMs, networking, storage, IAM.
Automate application deployments and environment setups.
Provision and manage
databases
(MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle) and assist with
clustering
.
Provide support for
ELK, Redis, and other database cluster setups
.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery of applications.
Perform basic monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Must-Have Skills

Strong knowledge of
Linux (command line, shell scripting)
.
Good understanding of
networking fundamentals
(IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
Hands-on with
Terraform (basic to intermediate)
.
Exposure to
Ansible
for configuration management.
Experience with
Git and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
(GitLab Runner preferred).
Basic to intermediate knowledge of
Docker
.
Experience with at least one cloud platform (
AWS or Azure
).

Good-to-Have Skills

Exposure to
Kubernetes
for container orchestration.
Experience with
database provisioning
and cluster setup (MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle).
Knowledge of
ELK/EFK stack
,
Redis cluster management
.
Familiarity with
monitoring & logging tools
(Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
Scripting skills in
Python/Bash
for automation.
