Job Description

Position: DevOps Engineer

Experience: 9 years

Location: Remote (India)

Time Zone: IST with 2 or 3-hour overlap with the US team (after 7:30-10 pm)


Project Context:

Marketplace 2.0 Launch


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Implement and manage Datadog for monitoring and observability.
  • Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
  • Automate deployments, configuration, and monitoring tasks via scripting.
  • Ensure secure, scalable, cost-efficient AWS environments.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years in DevOps / Cloud roles.
  • Strong AWS experience (IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.).
  • Terraform (must-have) for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Datadog (major plus).
  • CI/CD pipeline tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Understanding of observability best practices.
  • Good communication skills for cross-time-zone work.


Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with other monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
  • Cloud cost optimization experience.
