Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Server Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in physical server setup, configuration, and management. The ideal candidate should have experience working with messaging queue systems, storage technologies, and databases, along with exposure to telecom projects (preferred but not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

1. Server Setup & Management (60%)

• Work directly with physical servers (bare metal) including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Configure networking features such as network bonding/teaming.

• Manage system performance, troubleshooting, and server-level optimizations.

• Ensure high availability and reliability of server infrastructure.

2. Message Queue Systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ)

• Implement and manage messaging queue systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).

• Handle real-time data communication between services.

• Optimize throughput, performance, and reliability of message flows.

3. Storage Systems – SAN/NAS (15%)

• Manage and configure storage solutions including SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage).

• Perform storage provisioning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

4. Database Knowledge (5%)

• Work with databases such as Redis, MySQL/PostgreSQL (SQL), MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.

• Manage basic operations, configuration, and troubleshooting based on project needs.

5 . Telecom Project Experience (Good to Have) (5%)

• Experience working on telecom-related projects (SMS, voice, or real-time data systems).

• Understanding of telecom protocols or real-time processing environments is an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with bare metal servers.

• Understanding of Linux-based server environments.

• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar MQ systems.

• Familiarity with SAN/NAS environments.

• Knowledge of Redis, SQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
