The Opportunity

We are looking for Development Geologists who have the passion to be part of our Sub-surface Group and work for reservoir characterization and modeling projects to support Field Development planning, new and infill drilling activities across various fields in multi-disciplinary teams of geologists, geophysicists, petrophysics and reservoir and engineers.

Roles and Responsibilities for Development Geologist:

• Construct geological maps & cross-sections integrating well and seismic data
• Conduct reservoir characterization studies and generate of 3D static geomodels through integration of geophysical, geological, petrophysical and dynamic reservoir data
• Contribute to field development plans
• Contribute to existing model updates, developing/maintaining workflows, volumetrics and calibrating to dynamic data
• Provide input to the identification, justification and review of drilling opportunities
• Work with reservoir and drilling engineers to mature well locations to drill ready status
• Provide well operations support through well planning, geological prognosis preparation, well placement, monitoring and geo-steering
• Good knowledge of Geophysics, Petrophysics and Reservoir Engineering is required
• Provide support to the well and reservoir management plans of fields
• Present technical proposals to the management, joint venture partners and regulatory board
• Proficiency in handling industry standard softwares.
• Mentoring junior technical staff

Qualification & Experience

• Education: M.Sc./ M.Tech in Geology
• Experience: 7+ years
• Skilled level PETREL user. Knowledge of other modelling software would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
