Design Team Lead

You will be joining GAJAB.com, India's boldest new-age marketplace, as a Creative Lead / Design Lead based in Marol, Andheri E, Mumbai. With over 5 years of experience in Product + Visual Design, an E-commerce/Startup vibe is preferred for this role. As the Creative Lead at GAJAB.com, you will have the opportunity to shape the entire visual and design ecosystem of the company. This includes designing the app, website, social media content, and ensuring a consistent brand image across all touchpoints. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the design of the entire product ecosystem including the mobile app, website, and seller dashboards. - Collaborate with Product, Tech, and Business teams to create intuitive and delightful user experiences. - Develop design systems, component libraries, and guidelines for internal use. - Brainstorm and design engaging social media posts, stories, reels, and marketing collaterals. - Ensure visual consistency across all GAJAB touchpoints. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of design experience with a focus on product and visual design. - Strong portfolio showcasing web/mobile product design, branding, and social content. - Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, etc. - Knowledge of After Effects/motion graphics/video editing tools is a plus. - Experience with consumer startups, e-commerce, or D2C brands. - Ability to balance aesthetics with usability and fun with functionality. - Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and handling multiple creative responsibilities. If you have prior experience in building or scaling design teams, performance-led design, exposure to Indian audiences, regional storytelling, or viral content creation, it would be considered a plus.
