Hiring: Design & Operations Intern (On-site · Indore)

Duration : 3-4 months

Purala is a contemporary textile studio working at the intersection of

design, craft, and material research. We create soft furnishings, bespoke

rugs, and textile artworks that bring depth and quiet luxury to modern

interiors.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and design-minded intern

to support day-to-day studio operations and work closely with the

Founder & Creative Director.

What you’ll do:

• Create aesthetic presentations, pitch decks, and documents in Canva

• Assist with visual communication using basic design tools (Canva; Adobe

tools preferred but not mandatory)

• Research vendors, artisans, materials, and potential clients

• Reach out to interior designers, architects, and hospitality clients as part

of studio outreach

• Assist with communication, coordination, and studio management

•Maintain organised data, files, and project documentation

• Help with Instagram postings and basic content creation

• Support design concept research and gather visual/reference material

when required

What we’re looking for:

• Quick learner with enthusiasm and initiative

• Strong time-management and follow-through

• Someone who listens well and executes tasks accurately

• Good research and organisation skills

• Proficient in Canva with an eye for clean, refined aesthetics

• Familiarity with design tools (Adobe tools is a plus)

• Comfortable with client outreach and external communication

• A design background preferred

• Someone who wants to learn, contribute, and grow with the studio
