Role Overview

We re looking for a

Design Lead - New Categories

to drive innovation across footwear, bags, sunglasses, belts, caps, socks, and packaging design. The ideal candidate combines a sharp design sense with strong product development knowledge and an understanding of trend-driven fashion.
You ll be instrumental in shaping Snitch s next wave of categories, ensuring every product from a sneaker to a belt buckle carries our signature bold and modern aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design & Development

  • Conceptualize and design products across multiple lifestyle categories footwear, bags, sunglasses, belts, caps, socks, and small accessories.
  • Create mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings aligned with the brand s design DNA.
  • Work closely with sourcing and vendors to develop samples and ensure design accuracy and quality.
  • Translate seasonal trends into commercial yet creative product lines.

2. Creative Packaging & Brand Presentation

  • Design innovative and premium packaging solutions for new categories unboxing, tags, dust bags, and retail presentation.
  • Ensure packaging reflects Snitch s identity and enhances the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams for consistent visual storytelling.

3. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Partner with production, merchandising, and category managers for smooth product development and launches.
  • Maintain design documentation, technical packs, and vendor coordination sheets.
  • Work with visual merchandising and marketing for cohesive launch aesthetics.

4. Trend Research & Innovation

  • Conduct regular research on global trends, materials, colors, and finishes.
  • Identify opportunities to create unique and market-relevant product stories.
  • Drive experiments in sustainable, functional, or tech-integrated designs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree or diploma in Product Design, Fashion Design, Accessory Design, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in designing across categories such as footwear, bags, accessories, or packaging.
  • Strong grasp of materials, textures, finishes, and ergonomics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or 3D design tools.
  • Prior experience in men s fashion or D2C brands preferred.
  • A good sense of brand storytelling and design consistency.
  • Footwear plus bags-heavy backgrounds strongly preferred.
