Footwear Designer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop men s sneakers, loafers, formals, and hybrid styles aligned with Snitch s design language.
• Research trends, materials, color palettes, and global footwear movements to create relevant and aspirational products.
• Work closely with the category, sourcing, and merchandising teams to translate concepts into prototypes and final samples.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to ensure accurate material selection, quality, and fit.
• Create detailed design specs, sketches, and tech packs for sampling and production.
• Participate in range planning, seasonal collections, and design presentations.
• Ensure a balance between style, comfort, and commercial viability in all designs.
• Stay updated on sustainability and innovation trends in footwear design.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor s degree or diploma in Footwear Design, Product Design, or Fashion Design from a reputed institute.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in footwear design preferably in men s sneakers, formals, or contemporary styles.
• Strong understanding of materials, lasts, construction techniques, and comfort engineering.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D visualization tools (Rhino, Clo, etc. preferred).
• Creative eye for detail, trend awareness, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
