Accord Transformer & Switchgear Ltd is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer – Transformer to join our engineering team. The role offers an opportunity to work on medium power transformer designs aligned with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of power transformers up to 20 MVA
• Preparation of GA drawings, core & winding design, and BOM
• Technical calculations related to losses, impedance, temperature rise, short-circuit withstand, etc.
• Compliance with IS / IEC standards and customer specifications
• Coordination with production, quality, and testing teams
• Technical support for tendering, costing, and customer queries
• Design optimization for performance, cost, and reliability
  

Qualifications & Skills

• BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering
• 4–10 years of hands-on experience in transformer design
• Strong knowledge of core, winding, insulation, and cooling systems
• Proficiency in design software and AutoCAD
• Experience with utility, industrial, or EPC projects preferred
• Strong analytical, documentation, and coordination skills
