The Design Engineer will be responsible for engineering design, technical planning, and documentation for solar power projects. This role focuses on converting site data and project requirements into optimized, compliant, and cost-effective designs that support smooth execution and timely project delivery.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed engineering designs for solar EPC projects (ground-mounted, rooftop, and floating solar)
• Develop layout drawings, GA drawings, structural designs, and BOQs
• Perform design calculations in line with applicable IS standards and project specifications
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, procurement, and project teams for integrated designs
• Review site survey reports and provide design inputs and revisions
• Support tendering and estimation with technical documents and drawings
• Optimize designs for cost efficiency, safety, and performance
• Ensure designs comply with quality, safety, and statutory norms
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control
• Required Skills & QualificationsB.Tech / B.E. in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical – as applicable)
• Experience in solar EPC design is preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design software
• Strong analytical, coordination, and documentation skills
