Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using standard practices and as per manager instructions.
• Conduct site visits to assess layout feasibility and later prepare precise as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with project and production teams during site visits and promptly relay design updates.
• Collaborate with engineers, workshop teams, and vendors to resolve design and execution issues.
• Continuously learn and apply CAD techniques to deliver high-quality professional drawings efficiently.
• Support the implementation of Good Engineering Practices by following established systems and processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proficient in drafting for Mechanical, Fabrication, Civil, and Electrical layouts.
• Skilled in using 2D and 3D CAD software to produce detailed technical drawings.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Attention to design detail and standards compliance.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
• Understanding of relevant engineering drawing standards and conventions.
• Diploma / ITI Draftsman / BE or equivalent in a relevant discipline
