Job Title: SAP Business Architect Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced SAP Business Architect with deep domain expertise in Manufacturing, Engineering, and Service lifecycle of Industry possess deep functional expertise in one or two modules of SAP Material Master , Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Enterprise Asset Maintenance (PM/EAM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM, VC), and Manufacturing Execution Systems (DM, MES).

The ideal candidate will possess strong solutioning capabilities and play a strategic role in driving business transformation, process optimization, and business development initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, integrated SAP solutions across PP, QM, PM/EAM, PLM, and MES domains.


• Develop end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business goals and SAP best practices.


• Define and govern integration strategies between SAP and MES & PLM platforms (e.g., SAP ME, MII, SAP PLM or third-party MES, PLM).


• Ensure harmonization of engineering & manufacturing processes across global sites through standardized SAP templates.


• Conduct fit-gap analysis, feasibility studies, and solution impact assessments.

Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to support SAP solutioning during RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation within client operations.


• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT to influence strategic decisions.


• Contribute to account growth by identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities and shaping value-driven SAP roadmaps.

Governance & Leadership

• Define architectural standards and ensure compliance across SAP implementations.


• Mentor functional consultants and technical teams on solution design and delivery.


• Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery.


• Stay abreast of SAP innovations, industry trends, and emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, digital twin, Industry 4.0).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.


• 15+ years of SAP experience with deep expertise in PP, QM, PLM, EAM/PM and MES/PLM integration.


• Proven track record in SAP S/4HANA implementations and solution architecture.


• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, shop floor systems, and digital manufacturing.


• Experience in client-facing roles with solutioning and business development responsibilities.


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP Certifications in MM/PP/QM/EAM or PLM.


• Experience with SAP ME, MII, or other MES platforms.


• Exposure to Agile delivery models and DevOps practices.


• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., FDA, ISO).


• Knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies and digital thread concepts.
