Job Description

Deputy Unit Manager - SME COE
Job Purpose
This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd. Duties and Responsibilities
The role will require a strong understanding of professionals, industry knowledge market intelligence, and underwriting processes at BFL to ensure that only credit worthy firms individuals are extended loans in line with BFL's risk policies. The incumbent will be responsible for underwriting loans in their specific locations, which will mostly be pre-qualified / pre-approved by the Risk team, and require quick processing TATs, in the following businesses:

Professional Loans:

Monthly disbursements are expected to cross Rs.250 Cr in these businesses by September. Each Credit Manager is expected to process Rs.10 Cr of loan applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwriting of loans to professionals within defined timelines.

Drive ownership of internal processes compliance with underwriting policies.

Support Business, Risk Operations in meeting the long-term goals of the respective businesses.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant / MBA

Maximum experience of 2 years in the financial services (lending) industry

Skills:

High process orientation

Good analytical skills

Positive attitude

Good communication skills, with proficiency in English
