Deputy Safety Manager – Semiconductor Construction Project (Gujarat, India)

About the role

We are seeking committed Safety professionals to lead and support site safety operations for a semiconductor construction project in Gujarat, India. This is a key role ensuring compliance, risk control, and workforce safety on-site. Candidates with Singapore construction safety experience are welcome. Hindi-speaking preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety management systems in line with project and statutory requirements.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across site activities.
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training programs for workers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on safety-related matters.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the Safety Coordinator team and ensure all personnel adhere to safe work practices.
• Maintain safety records and ensure documentation meets compliance standards.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Safety Manager or Deputy in construction, preferably semiconductor or industrial projects.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH standards and practices (WSHO / FSM / Safety Coordinator experience is a plus).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hindi-speaking preferred for better on-site coordination.
• Willing to work full-time on-site in Gujarat, India.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹105,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
