Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard international suppliers and exporters for key fruit categories.
• Build long-term partnerships with growers, traders, and aggregators across major sourcing geographies.
• Drive negotiations on pricing, terms, and quality standards to ensure competitive and reliable supply.
• Track global fruit market trends, seasonal availability, and freight movements to support sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Vegrow’s demand, category, and supply planning teams to align sourcing with business goals.

Documentation & Operations

• Oversee all import-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, shipping papers, and compliance certifications.
• Liaise with logistics partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination for shipments, clearances, and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs norms, and phytosanitary requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and track performance metrics (cost, quality, delivery).

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in

  international sourcing, procurement, or trading

  , preferably in

  fruits, fresh produce, or perishables

  .
• Strong exposure to

  international markets

  and supplier development.
• Solid understanding of

  import documentation, compliance, and logistics

  .
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and build networks from scratch.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally for supplier visits and trade fairs.
