Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee import and export banking operations, including Letters of Credit (LC), Documentary Collections, Bank Guarantees, and Bills of Exchange. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, foreign exchange management laws, and banking standards. Review and verify trade documents for accuracy and compliance before submission to banks. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and correspondent banks to facilitate smooth trade transactions. Monitor foreign currency transactions and manage risks related to exchange rates. Provide advisory support to clients on trade finance products and solutions. Prepare periodic reports on trade finance activities, risks, and performance for senior management. Support process improvements and implement best practices in trade finance operations. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Banking, International Business, or related field. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in import/export banking or trade finance. Strong knowledge of trade finance instruments (LCs, guarantees, collections, remittances). Familiarity with UCP 600, ICC guidelines, and FEMA regulations. Proficiency in banking software and MS Office tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions simultaneously. Preferred Attributes Certification in Trade Finance or International Banking.
