Opportunity: Deputy Manager – US Taxation (Financial Services) 26898

📍

Location:

Mumbai / Bangalore / Hyderabad💼

Domain: Consulting / Strategy💰 CTC: INR 17 – 24 LPA📌 Work Model: Hybrid (4 days WFO – Mon & Fri mandatory)🕒 Timings: 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST⏱ Experience Required: 4–8 Years

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end tax assignments from planning to finalization
Review US Tax returns and work papers (focus: Partnership – Form 1065)
Manage and mentor 1–2 team members
Maintain strong client communication to manage expectations and provide timely updates
Act as the first point of escalation on technical issues
Support senior managers on client delivery and team coordination
Conduct performance evaluations for juniors

✅ Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of experience in US/Global Taxation
Hands-on experience in:

Funds-of-Funds, Hedge Funds, PE/VC
Partnership compliance – Form 1065
Investment industry taxation

💡 Preferred Qualifications

CPA / CA / Enrolled Agent (advantageous, not mandatory)
Experience working with financial services clients
Direct client or global stakeholder interaction experience
Prior background with Big4, BDO, RSM, or US Tax specialist firms
