Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end AP operations, including invoice processing, verification, approvals, and payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices in ERP systems.
• Manage vendor advances, debit notes, credit notes, and payment adjustments.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payouts as per credit terms.

Vendor Management

• Address vendor queries and resolve disputes/clarifications promptly.
• Ensure completion of vendor onboarding, documentation, and statutory compliance (PAN, GST, etc.).

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

• Ensure correct application of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements on all invoices.
• Coordinate for monthly/quarterly statutory returns by providing accurate AP data.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and adherence to internal controls.

Audit Support (Internal & Statutory)

• Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and documentation required for audits.
• Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of recommended controls.

Systems, Controls & Process Improvements

• Strengthen internal controls around AP processes.
• Identify gaps and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Fixed Assets Register (FAR) Management

• Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register on a real-time basis.
• Ensure accurate capitalization of assets with correct categorization and useful life.
• Monitor asset movement across centers/branches.
• Manage asset additions, deletions, transfers, and write-offs.
• Ensure correct computation and monthly posting of depreciation as per applicable accounting standards and company policy.
• Review CWIP (Capital Work in Progress) ageing and ensure timely capitalization.
• Ensure proper treatment of repairs vs. capital expenditure.
