Deputy Manager - Quality

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a dedicated Quality-Civil Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of civil works for our BESS deployment project at the HO The Quality-Civil Engineer will be responsible for monitoring construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all civil works meet project specifications and standards. - Conduct regular inspections and tests of construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards. - Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. - Ensure all civil construction activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. - Identify and resolve any quality-related issues that arise during the construction phase. - Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are understood and met. - Identify opportunities for improving quality control processes and implement necessary changes. - Ensure all quality control activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.

Technical Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in quality control and assurance, preferably in construction or engineering projects. - Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and standards. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
