About the Role:

Join our dynamic finance team to lead Direct and Indirect Tax Audits. This role involves ensuring compliance with all statutory tax requirements while identifying opportunities for tax optimization and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Taxation:

• Conduct and manage statutory tax audits under the Income Tax Act.
  
• Prepare and review Form 3CA/3CB & 3CD along with supporting documentation.
  
• Handle income tax returns, TDS compliance, and advance tax workings.
  
• Support during tax assessments, reassessments, and appeals.
  
• Liaise with tax authorities and draft responses to tax notices.
  
• Stay updated on amendments, circulars, and notifications in direct tax laws.
  

Indirect Taxation:

• Plan and manage audits related to GST, VAT, Service Tax, Excise, and Customs.
  
• Review returns, invoices, and records for statutory compliance.
  
• Reconcile tax ledgers such as GSTR 2A vs Books and Input Tax Credit.
  
• Identify non-compliance risks and prepare detailed audit reports.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax departments during assessments.
  
• Recommend process improvements and ensure best practices in tax reporting.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and other indirect tax laws.
  
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, and Excel.
  
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  
• Ability to handle multiple audits independently and meet deadlines.
  
• Attention to detail with a proactive approach.
