Deputy Manager -MRSS Electrical

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRSS Electrical Manager to oversee and manage the electrical systems and projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and maintenance of MRSS (Main Receiving Substation) systems.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Design and Implementation: Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of MRSS electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Project Management: Manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. - Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of MRSS electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems. - Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems and operations comply with safety standards and regulations, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments. - Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support. - Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors for the procurement of electrical equipment and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. - Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all electrical systems, projects, and maintenance activities.

Technical Competencies

Excellent troubleshooting abilities,Expertise in managing and maintaining high-voltage electrical systems,Proficiency in electrical design,knowledge of electrical safety standards

Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 9 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing MRSS systems. - Technical Expertise: Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP), knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC), and experience with high-voltage systems.
