Deputy Manager – IT

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and SOPs aligned with business requirements in the

  Power / Infrastructure / Construction / Energy

  environment.
• Manage and maintain end-to-end IT infrastructure including

  servers, hardware, software, networks, and telecom systems

  .
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of

  servers, databases, and critical IT systems

  .
• Ensure

  IT security, data protection, and cybersecurity compliance

  through best practices and controls.
• Lead and guide the IT team, providing technical support, mentoring, and performance oversight.
  
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand IT needs, prioritize projects, and deliver effective solutions.
  
• Manage

  IT vendors

  , negotiate contracts, and handle procurement of hardware, software, and licenses.
• Prepare and manage

  IT budgets

  , ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• Implement and maintain

  disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP)

  to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Stay updated with emerging IT technologies and industry best practices relevant to infrastructure and energy projects.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in

  Computer Science / Information Technology

  or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• 5 to 8 years

  of experience in IT roles within

  Thermal Power Plants, Infrastructure, Construction, or Energy sectors

  .
• Proven experience in

  IT infrastructure management and team leadership

  .

• Strong knowledge of:

• Network & System Administration
  
• Cybersecurity & Data Protection
  
• Server & Database Management
  
• Cloud Computing (preferred)
  
• Experience with

  industry-specific software and systems

  used in power, infrastructure, or construction projects is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
