Job Purpose

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Ltd.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve collection targets assigned to the territory by meeting collection targets for the assigned states or region.
• Meet the target on cost of collections.
• Ensure meeting PI targets within specified cost limits.
• Ensure legal guidelines are complied with for the entire collection structure.
• Ensure collection agencies and executives adhere to legal guidelines provided by current law.
• Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct.
• Continuously monitor collection agencies and executives to identify fraudulent practices and prevent losses.
• Maintain write-off percentage within risk pricing.
• Control portfolio in terms of bucket flows.
• Handle customer issue escalations.
• Provide feedback on credit policy based on market conditions.
• Approve waivers on PI as per the delegation matrix.
• Ensure documented feedback and actions taken on all cases in soft buckets.
• Ensure adequate Feet on Street availability area-wise, bucket-wise, and segment-wise.
• Manage and support mechanisms for legal and police issues.
• Ensure audit queries are complied with and corrective and preventive actions are taken.
• Manage productivity by setting productivity parameters for DMA/agencies/collection executives, monitoring performance, and conducting reviews of Area Managers and Collection Officers.
• Recruit collection officers and area managers.
• Constantly evaluate collection officers and area managers.
