Deputy General Manager-SCM-Material Audit-CV Operations-TMCV

The role requires you to audit and check the effectiveness of the Material Management system to ensure accurate Inventory and Material consumption at the Plant Level. You will review and assess the total supply chain risk, identify opportunities to minimize risks, and strengthen the Inventory Management process. In addition, you will be responsible for timely submission of various reports to Statutory Auditor, SOX Compliance team, and Internal Audit team. Your main responsibilities will include improving inventory variance control by planning and conducting physical verifications for various types of materials across the plant. You will monitor SOX Compliance, inspection, supply float vehicles verification, and reconciliation. Additionally, you will conduct surprise checks of high-valued category parts and ensure adequacy of reconciliation, storage, and infrastructure facilities. You will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring MASOP material reconciliation at the vendor end, as well as liquidating and monitoring MASOP stock with vendors. Adherence against inventory targets, inventory reduction, and bottom-line optimization will be key aspects of your role. You will guide the team, review factory-wise inventory targets, monitor Inventory MIS reporting, and conduct manual consumption analysis. Furthermore, you will be required to conduct monthly consumption analysis of aggregates and bought-out items, ensuring timely closure of internal and external auditor queries. Process improvement and stakeholder interactions with internal departments like Plant Head, SCM Head, Warehouse, Finance, SOX team, and HR, among others, will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's in Engineering, with a preference for a Master's in Material Management. Significant experience in inventory control in manufacturing industries, knowledge of SAP modules, warehouse management, procurement, logistics management, and MRP implementation is required. Experience in handling statutory audits, SOX compliance, cost audits, and internal audits is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and management skills are also necessary. Desired skills and competencies for this role include product design and development, business acumen, customer-centricity, driving execution, and project management. The candidate should have 10-12 years of experience in supply chain management, SAP MM module, and material audit exposure.,
