Job Description

Role & responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making. Ensure timely GST filings, returns, and compliance with applicable financial regulations and statutory requirements. Oversee the preparation and finalization of financial statements, P&L accounts, balance sheets, and other statutory reports. Liaise with statutory auditors and internal stakeholders for timely completion of audits and address audit queries. Draft annual budgets, monitor budgetary control, and align financial plans with institutional growth strategies. Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the University. Manage and nurture relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize financial operations and leverage opportunities. Manage tax-related matters including tax returns, statutory filings, and liaising with tax authorities. Work on financial projections, monitor cost structures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization in line with the Universitys plans. Collaborate with leadership teams and department heads to support business objectives through financial insights and guidance. Preferred candidate profile 15 -18 years of relevant financial management experience, preferably in the education sector. Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Expertise in GST compliance, statutory filings, and audit management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Proficient in financial software and ERP systems
