Job Description

As a Business Development Deputy General Manager in Data Center Consulting at Schneider Electric, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's presence and capabilities within the Data Center market. Your focus will be on providing top-notch consulting services for clients in power quality audits, energy management, system installations, and operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Data Center Consulting & Design:** - Utilize knowledge of data center redundancy, operation, and installation practices to design and manage complex data center projects. - Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of data center equipment including electrical power panels, UPS systems, generators, fire suppression systems, CCTV, and BMS software systems. - Design and execute the project of installation of physical data center equipment like electrical power panels, transformers, DC systems, fire suppression systems, CCTV, access control systems, and more. - Manage asset and document management including preparation of data center layout and maintenance of client rack details. - Ensure access control and security management procedures are followed. - Maintain knowledge of data center cooling units, racks installation, and hot aisle containment systems. - Prepare daily reports, incident reports, method statements, and standard operating procedures. - Calculate PUE (Power Usage Efficiency) and conduct risk assessments and fire evacuation procedures. - **International Standards Auditing:** - Conduct audits according to industry standards to ensure compliance with best practices for data center design, operation, and energy management. - **Risk Management & System Assessment:** - Evaluate data center systems for vulnerabilities and lead risk assessments to optimize performance, security, and safety. - **Energy & Power Quality Audits:** - Lead audits to identify opportunities for improvement in data center energy usage and efficiency. Develop strategies to improve energy efficiency. - **Team Training & Development:** - Lead training efforts to keep team members updated on industry advancements, safety regulations, and operational protocols. - **Compliance & Safety Standards:** - Ensure adherence to HSE policies and local electrical power systems and fire system procedures for the safety and compliance of all consulting projects. **Skills and Qualifications:** - Technical Expertise in data center systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire suppression, and security systems. - Strong Industry Knowledge of Uptime Institute, TIA, and ASHRAE standards. - Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and managing large-scale projects. - Excellent Communication & Leadership skills. - Relevant Certifications in standards and project management are a plus.,
