As a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for setting the technology strategy and vision aligned with our business objectives. This includes monitoring tech trends, forecasting future technology and market trends, and incorporating relevant innovations into our company's roadmap. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage the engineering or technical departments, hire, mentor, and develop technical talent. - Oversee the development of new products and services, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. - Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure. - Manage the technology budget, allocate resources efficiently, and evaluate/negotiate with technology vendors. - Work closely with other executives to align tech with broader business goals and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and identify/mitigate technological risks, including cybersecurity threats. - Represent the tech team in meetings with clients, investors, and partners and translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant language. **Qualifications Required:** - 3 years of experience as a CTO is required for this position.
