Design, develop, document and test the Implant relates software system and all related software tools for use in clinics, audiological centres and research centres, starting from the user requirements, and within time and budget as foreseen by project management.

The software engineer is responsible for designing and developing the desktop application for fitting in Delphi and C#/.NET environment

Accountabilities

Accountability 1: Quality

· Utilize Cochlear Design Control Process.

· Follow internal project procedures.

· Document when necessary or appropriate.

· High-quality design and development.

· Develop and Perform unit tests, perform integration tests.

· Participate in verification activities when necessary or appropriate.

· Participate in technical reviews.

Accountability 2: Team, people

· Good communication skills.

· Ability to communicate openly and constructively with other team members, and knowledge sharing within the team and across teams.

· Contributing to the teams’ work and result.

Accountability 3: Project

· Focus on the deliverables of the project: design and develop software for Cochlear implant applications.

· Status and problem reporting of the project.

· Adhere to team schedule.

· Participate in team meetings.

· Implement product requirements.

· Writer and maintain technical documentation of the module or subproject.

· Keep within deadline framework in cooperation with team leader.

Accountability 4: Personal development

· Keep well informed about latest technology developments in software engineering as well as in the audiological field of Cochlear Implant System.

· Be aware of competitor activities.

· Follow job specific training courses.

Team Role

Individual contributor:

· Follow relevant quality procedures to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement. Undertake additional quality responsibilities (e.g., audit) when appropriately trained to undertake these responsibilities.

· Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables.

· Work safely, complying with all safety procedures, rules, and instructions; and reporting workplace hazards, incidents, or injuries to manager.

· To mainly develop application code in Delphi and C#

To design and develop a GUI providing a high-quality user experience.
