Location: Anywhere in India Experience Level: 7 to 10 years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Optimization Specialist with expertise in Microsoft Intune to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing the deployment of applications, updates, and configurations across the enterprise using Intune delivery optimization techniques. This role is critical to reducing network impact while enhancing end-user experience and deployment efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage delivery optimization strategies and policies within Microsoft Intune. Optimize the deployment of applications, software updates, and device configurations to ensure efficient content distribution. Monitor delivery optimization metrics and adjust settings to achieve optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to delivery optimization and deployment failures in Intune. Collaborate closely with endpoint management, networking, and support teams to ensure successful rollouts and minimal disruption. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all delivery optimization processes, policies, and configurations. Educate and support end-users and IT teams on best practices for delivery optimization in Intune-managed environments. Conduct periodic audits and performance assessments to ensure compliance with organizational standards and evolving best practices. Keep up to date with advancements in Microsoft Intune, Windows Delivery Optimization (DO), and related technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or endpoint management , with a strong focus on Microsoft Intune . Proven experience implementing and managing Windows Delivery Optimization (DO) or similar content delivery mechanisms in large environments. Deep understanding of Intune policies , content distribution mechanisms, and deployment automation. Familiarity with Group Policy Objects (GPOs) , Windows Update for Business (WUfB) , and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) content sharing strategies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly around deployment failures and network impact. Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure AD , Microsoft Endpoint Manager , or Configuration Manager (SCCM) . Knowledge of network optimization tools , bandwidth management , and content caching solutions . Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for Intune policy and deployment automation. Understanding of compliance and security best practices in endpoint deployment.
