Role Overview: As the Senior VP of Software Product Development and Delivery, you will be in a senior management role with total responsibility for handling multiple software products. This diverse and challenging role requires strong proven skills and expertise in Software Development, Project Management, and people handling. You will need strong domain skills and will have P&L responsibilities, underwriting sales targets, and working closely with Pre-sales and Product management functions. Strong expertise in Web and mobile technologies is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Create, monitor, and deliver software products as per the business plans and customer commitments, ensuring timely delivery and within planned costs. - Identify and proactively track risks, implementing active risk mitigation measures. - Lead, resource, train, and manage Delivery teams effectively. - Implement industry best practices in all software product development areas, focusing on a strong metrics model. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-sales, and Product development functions to meet revenue targets. - Optimize company resources by leading efforts on quality improvement, technology advancement, efficient processes, reusability initiatives, and knowledge retention. - Contribute to building company and product branding, collaterals, and product demos. - Develop costing and pricing models for various products. - Manage component sourcing, hardware, communications, and vendor management. - Enhance internal training programs within the Division to improve product and market knowledge. - Motivate, retain, and recruit qualified and skilled teams. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 20+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 10 years in software product development and delivery, preferably in the BFSI segment. - Experience in software product development phases such as Conceptualization, Analysis, Design, Development, Version management, Implementation, and Support. - Exposure to pre-sales activities, including creating and conducting product demos and walkthroughs. - Strong expertise in working with international clients, timely product delivery, and product development processes. - Experience in client contracting, sub-vendor management, team leading, and managing products with a focus on timeliness, quality, and profitability. - Educational qualification in Engineering or MBA.
