Delivery Consultant - Storage

Introduction

Your Role And Responsibilities

• As a Delivery Consultant, you will collaborate with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that drive real business value. You’ll be part of IBM Technology Expert Labs—a team known for its technical depth, client focus, and pragmatic approach to solving complex challenges.
• Design, develop, integrate, implement, migrate, and support IBM Technology solutions with urgency and precision.
• Apply technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery aligned with client goals.
• Use issue-/hypothesis-based methodologies to analyze client challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Demonstrate initiative and curiosity in navigating data and people to uncover insights.
• Create and execute agile project plans including installation, provisioning, testing, production migration, and day-two operations.
• Conduct and participate in technical solution workshops to guide clients through architecture and deployment decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of client organizations—from engineers to CxOs.
• Navigate challenging discussions to reach constructive resolutions.
• Collaborate effectively across IBM teams, partners, and clients.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both technical and business contexts.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Storage Technology Expertise
• Experience with IBM Storage technologies including:
• IBM FlashSystem
• IBM DS8000
• IBM Storage Scale System
• IBM Tape Storage Systems
• IBM Storage software: Storage Scale, Storage Protect / Protect Plus, Storage Virtualize
• Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions for:
• Data and AI workloads
• Hybrid cloud environments
• Data resiliency and disaster recovery
