Job TitleDelivery Boy / Delivery Executive Location local near by you Salary₹40,000 – ₹70,000 per month (depending on experience / performance / shift / incentives) 15,000 Job SummaryAs a Delivery Boy at Blinkit (or similar rapid grocery delivery service), you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of orders from the warehouse / store to the customers. You’ll act as the link between the customer and the service, ensuring high customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s reputation for fast delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesReceive orders via the company app / dispatch system, plan the best route, and deliver groceries / items safely to customers within specified time windows. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of your delivery vehicle (bike / scooter / two-wheeler). Ensure that all items in the order are correctly picked up, safely packed, handled, and delivered without damage. Follow safety and traffic regulations at all times; wear safety gear (helmet, etc.), follow company’s safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of deliveries (time, proofs, any customer feedback or complaint). Handle cash on delivery (if applicable) and ensure correct amount collected; or handle digital payment reconciliations. Communicate with dispatchers, customer support, or warehouse staff for any issues (wrong address, missing item, customer not available, etc.). Maintain punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude. Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum age: 18 years. Preferably 21+ with valid driver’s license for two-wheelers. Valid driving license and appropriate two-wheeler vehicle with registration and insurance. Good knowledge of local area / city roads and navigation. Smartphone with working GPS / maps apps. Physically fit; able to carry weight (groceries) and handle multiple deliveries in a shift. Good communication skills in local language and basic English. Punctual, responsible, customer-oriented. Desirable AttributesExperience in delivery or logistics roles. Familiarity with app-based delivery systems / GPS / navigation. Good sense of time management; able to optimize route to complete more deliveries. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings / late evenings or weekends, as needed. Working ConditionsFull-time or shift basis (morning / afternoon / night shifts if applicable). Usually outdoors; exposure to traffic, weather conditions. Should conform to safety standards; the company provides helmet, uniform, etc. (or requirement to maintain same). May require long hours during peak demand (e.g., festivals, holidays). Performance Metrics & IncentivesOn-time delivery rate (percentage of deliveries made within promised time window). Number of deliveries per shift / per day. Customer satisfaction / complaints.
