Job Title: Senior SSIS Developer (MSBI)
Experience: 5+ Years Location: India Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Senior SSIS Developer

with over 5 years of experience in developing and managing

ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

as part of the

MSBI stack

. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in

ETL development, performance tuning, data modeling, and working with large volumes of data

across multiple sources.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL packages using

SSIS

to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (SQL Server, Excel, Flat Files, Oracle, etc.)
Design and implement

SSIS packages

, automation using

SQL Agent Jobs

, and reusable components to enhance productivity.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Optimize existing ETL processes for

performance, scalability, and reliability

.
Ensure

data quality, consistency, and integrity

across systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including data flow diagrams and architecture documentation.
Perform root cause analysis on production issues and support bug fixes.
Collaborate with BI teams for reporting and dashboard integration (Power BI / SSRS).
Support UAT, deployment, and post-deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years

of hands-on experience in

SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

.
Strong experience with

MS SQL Server

- stored procedures, T-SQL, performance tuning, indexing, query optimization.
Experience with

SSRS

and

SSAS

is a plus.
Strong understanding of

ETL design patterns

, data warehousing concepts, and

dimensional modeling

.
Experience in working with

large datasets

,

data cleansing

, and

data validation techniques

.
Familiarity with

version control tools (e.g., Git, TFS)

and CI/CD integration for SSIS packages.
Experience in scheduling and monitoring jobs using

SQL Server Agent

.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Good to Have:

Exposure to

Power BI / SSRS / SSAS

for end-to-end BI delivery.
Experience with

Agile/Scrum

development methodologies.
Knowledge of

data governance

,

data security

, and

compliance practices

.
