Role & responsibilities Oversee administration and maintenance of different database engines, both On-Prem and in AWS. This also includes Data Warehouses in the Cloud (Redshift experience is a plus). Perform health checks and performance tuning to ensure databases are available and healthy. Place and Test disaster recovery plans for all databases. Ensure protocols for DB security and data privacy are in place. Maintain compliance of all databases to various InfoSec and Audit bodies Automate tasks as deemed necessary.
