Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Database Programmer with deep expertise in Gen AI integrations, Model Context Protocols (MCPs), and AI-ready data architectures. In this role, you will design and maintain advanced database systems that seamlessly integrate with LLMs, vector databases, and multi-agent AI frameworks.

You will work closely with AI engineers, backend teams, DevOps, and product stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and compliance-ready data infrastructure powering intelligent automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AI-integrated database architectures interacting with MCPs, LLMs, and vector databases
• Build and optimize PostgreSQL and NoSQL data models for real-time AI inference and compliance workflows
• Architect and maintain context stores and embedding repositories for Gen AI automation
• Develop ETL and data pipelines for structured and unstructured financial data used in AI reasoning
• Collaborate with AI and backend teams to enable contextual communication via MCP frameworks
• Create and maintain database orchestration scripts for automation, versioning, and high-performance querying
• Perform query optimization, performance tuning, and data integrity audits
• Define data lineage, retention, and governance policies aligned with NZ & AU accounting compliance
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to AI data integration and security strategies
• Evaluate and recommend emerging Gen AI data technologies and vector DB frameworks

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or related field
• 5+ years of experience in database programming, engineering, or architecture
• Advanced expertise in PostgreSQL and strong knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, FAISS, Milvus, Weaviate, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Model Context Protocols (MCPs) for multi-model or multi-agent systems
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and database APIs for AI/LLM workflows
• Experience with Gen AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI APIs)
• Strong knowledge of ETL pipelines, schema design, and data governance
• Experience with cloud-native databases (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure Cosmos DB, GCP Spanner)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-LLM routing, orchestration, or MoE systems
• Knowledge of financial and accounting data structures (GL, ledgers, trial balance)
• Exposure to NZ & AU accounting compliance, GDPR, SOC 2
• Python-based AI integrations using FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, LangChain adapters

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹402,110.37 - ₹1,366,177.38 per year
