As a Database Administrator at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing SQL Server databases through various lifecycle environments, ensuring high performance, availability, and security. Your responsibilities will include configuring and maintaining database servers, monitoring system health and performance, and providing 24x7 support for critical production systems. Additionally, you will apply data modeling techniques, refine and automate processes, and assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement. Key Responsibilities: - Manage SQL Server databases throughout different lifecycle environments - Configure and maintain database servers to ensure high performance and security - Apply data modeling techniques to support development efforts - Independently analyze and resolve issues in real time - Automate processes, track issues, and document changes - Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement - Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems - Share technical expertise and provide mentorship to team members Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech or Equivalent - 2-5 years of experience in Database Administration - Knowledge of Database (Mysql, SQL Server, Oracle, etc) - Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization - Familiarity with backups, restores, and recovery models - Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server - Proficiency in working with Windows server and Active Directory - Good communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Good aptitude About the Company: SoftCarve offers a good bonus and incentive structure, and you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the core team with early starter preference.
