As a Database Administrator at SoftCarve, you will be responsible for managing SQL Server databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security. You will work with a team of professionals and be involved in various tasks such as configuring database servers, monitoring system health, and providing support for critical production systems. Your role will also involve data modeling, query tuning, and automation of processes to enhance efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage SQL Server databases across different lifecycle environments - Configure and maintain database servers to ensure high performance and security - Apply data modeling techniques for integration and performance expectations - Analyze and resolve issues in real-time - Automate processes, track issues, and assist developers with query tuning - Provide 24x7 support for critical systems - Perform maintenance activities and support release deployment after hours - Share technical expertise and mentorship with team members **Qualifications Required:** - BE/BTech or Equivalent - Experience with MS SQL Server administration - Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle - Certifications like MCTS, MCITP, MVP are a plus SoftCarve offers a good bonus and incentive structure, early starter preference, and the opportunity to be at the cutting edge of technology.
