Job Description

• Install, Create, Patch & Maintain Databases.
• Administer database logical & physical structure. • Create User Accounts, Grant Roles & Permissions. • Patch & Upgrade databases to desired versions. • Migrate/Rehost databases to new plateform including cloud. • Proactively monitor database health & performance. • Troubleshoot daily problems & resolve within SLA. • Coordinate Capacity Planning with associated teams. • Administer application schema & database objects. • Excellent knowledge of data backup & recovery. • Good knowledge of SQL/PL/SQL procedures. • Good knowledge of Oracle RAC, Disaster Recovery, ASM. • Strong understanding of Unix Administration & scripting (shell/python)

Desirable Skills:-
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Experience with 247 support of production database environments. • Critical thinker & problem-solving skills.

Essential Skills:-
• OS: RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 (64 bit) / Windows OS Family
• Hands on experience in Unix/Linux/Windows Administration • Strong knowledge on ITSM Tools : ServiceNow • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written skills)
