Your role

Conduct comprehensive current state analysis of existing data systems, processes, and frameworks of an organization. Provide strategic recommendations and design target state for optimizing data-related processes, structures, and systems. Participate in Data Maturity assessments. Drive CXO conversations effectively. Lead and facilitate engagements in data governance, establishing policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure metadata, master data, data quality, security, and compliance.
Develop and define future state data architectures aligned with industry best practices and organizational needs. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data strategies with business objectives. Utilize expertise in cloud technologies e.g., GCP, Azure, and AWS, to guide and implement data strategies in cloud-based environments.
Help in providing tools/technology advisory to customers by creating market scan reports, technology comparison frameworks and selection, creating technology architecture. Drive RFI/RFP and presales engagements. Lead and contribute to offerings development, provide thought leadership. Leverage BFSI Banking, Finance, or Insurance industry knowledge to drive business discussions, identify industry wise data strategy challenges and provide industry specific best practices.
Utilise domain specific regulatory or compliance requirements to frame tailored data strategy, data policies and principles BCBS239, Basel III or general GDPR. Utilize industry contextual knowledge to derive domain specific use cases for analytics or AI/ML applications. Ability to understand data and derive key performance indicators (KPIs). Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik Sense and Power BI. Manage and mentor a team of consultants and execute people management activities

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Your Profile

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or any related field. Preferably MBA from a tier 1 and tier 2 college. Min. 5 years Strong proven experience in BFSI domain. Proven experience in advisory and consultancy roles focused on data strategy and architecture. At least 1 end to end consulting engagement experience.
Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly GCP, Azure, and AWS, with relevant certifications preferred. Experience in leading and managing data governance, data modeling, and operating model initiatives. Should be aware of latest tech trends in data and applications of advanced AI technologies across Industry sectors.
Strong knowledge of DAMA and TOGAF frameworks and principles. Certifications preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies effectively. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Candidate should be a good storyteller, presenter and capable of steering leadership communication. A self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership and drive to deliver high-quality results.
