Data Scientist

JOB PURPOSE

Analyze and convert data into meaningful analysis and provide insights, applications and solutions to internal customers to help take decisions and improve ongoing/ future KPIs.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Analyze the data considering the problem statement shared. To confirm if the use case can be taken forward or not

• Understand the problem statement and Use case
• Break it down to the level to understand source data
• Validate completeness of data for analytics and data science purpose

Build a conceptual data model. Use the right algorithm to arrive at the intended business output

• To obtain the customer's data requirements and set up data infrastructure by doing exploratory data analysis, data cleansing & preparation
• Collaborate with customer team to understand and source data
• To create the solution that could be a dashboard, a system that automates task, an app or some report
• To slice and dice data to come up with insights and pattern not visible through normal analysis
• Move beyond the obvious and use the power of data for business improvement

Training, Monitoring of application & taking feedback

• To get continuous feedback from the customers and to adapt/ modify the solution as per the feedback
• To train the customer in order to make it possible to use the solution

Information automation & cont. improvement

• Algorithm and data model should be deployed to run in an auto mode without manual intervention
• Use the edge cloud infrastructure for final deployment
• Agile improvements in the code without disturbing the output and stability

Educational Qualifications / Technical Training/ Certifications

Graduation in domains like (Engineering, Economics, Statistics),

PG or specialized certifications in DS equally preferred

Experience : 1 -4 years
