Data Science Specialist

Role Overview: You will be collaborating in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of 3-6 experts to enhance client performance in areas such as energy efficiency, product quality, and capacity. Your creativity and analytics expertise will be utilized to communicate your work to executive audiences and develop innovative products and algorithms in collaboration with product engineers. Additionally, you will benefit from world-class training in business problem structuring and client advisory, working closely with senior manufacturing and analytics experts. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate in a team to enhance client performance in energy efficiency, product quality, and capacity - Develop innovative products and algorithms in collaboration with product engineers - Communicate work to executive audiences and process engineers - Benefit from world-class training in business problem structuring and client advisory - Work closely with senior manufacturing and analytics experts - Codify best practices and shape the product roadmap - Travel to client sites, locally and internationally Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, Machine Learning or equivalent - 4+ years of relevant professional experience in advanced analytics, preferably in heavy industries like Mining, Metals, or Chemicals - Proficiency in writing clean and efficient code in Python, with experience in using cloud computing resources like AWS, GCP, or Azure - Ability to implement and maintain MLOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of models - Strong DevOps and backend engineering skills, including experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) - Excellent organization capabilities and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of state-of-the-art analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques - Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience in facilitating discussions with leadership - Track record of completing projects successfully on time - Willingness to travel to other offices and/or client locations for short/long term assignments,
