As a Lead Data Scientist at our company, you will be part of our high-performing team that was honored with the prestigious "Outstanding Data Engineering Team" Award at DES 2025 for setting new benchmarks in data excellence. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable ML solutions, building robust APIs, and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Generative AI models, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and cloud-native development with at least 8 years of experience. Additionally, you should have a solid background in software engineering and DevOps practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and implement GenAI and NLP models using Python and relevant libraries (Transformers, LangChain, etc.) - Deploy ML models and pipelines on GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Functions) and Azure ML/Azure Services - Develop and manage RESTful APIs for model integration - Apply ML Ops and CI/CD best practices using tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins - Ensure solutions follow software engineering principles, including modularity, reusability, and scalability - Work in Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define use cases and deliver PoCs and production-ready solutions - Optimize performance and cost efficiency of deployed models and cloud services - Maintain strong documentation and follow secure coding and data privacy standards **Qualification Required:** - Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML & NLP frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, spaCy, Hugging Face) - Experience with Generative AI models (OpenAI, PaLM, LLaMA, etc.) - Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts like embeddings, summarization, NER, etc. - Proficiency in GCP services Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, BigQuery (GCP Certification is mandatory) - Familiarity with Azure ML / Azure Functions / Azure API Management - Experience in building and managing REST APIs - Hands-on with CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus) - Strong grasp of software engineering concepts and Agile methodology **Additional Company Details:** The company locations for this role include Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, and Bangalore. You should have 8 to 12 years of experience in the field to be considered for this position.
